Meaghan gave us a terrific experience when we bought a new furniture

Ok furniture, wasn’t too happy about item supposedly would be here in 3 days, when it did finally arrive 11 days later, nobody bothered to call and let me know, found out it had been there for 2 days when I went and picked it up, was not going to pay their Ridiculous delivery charge for one item…..would’ve been better to spend a little more and gotten it TODAY TODAY TODAY from mattress Mack.

Bought some bookcases on sale. Price was reasonable. No one followed us around asking lots questions. Which I liked. We found an associate when we were ready. Rick Orr was polite and handled our sale quickly. Items were in stock. We were in, out, and loaded in about 40mins.

Rueben Stanley is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He prepared our furniture order expeditiously and accurately.

We purchased about $4,000 worth of furniture from them with no problem, including delivery. We also found a rug we liked, but they only had the floor sample, so we agreed to take that one. It appears that we bought it "As Is" although nobody ever told us that. We found a tear on the carpet and were told too bad, no returns. I guess it was written on the receipt - which happens to be 15 inches long and contains a bunch of fine print. My bad, I guess. At any rate, we were going to buy furniture for another room, and we will find another furniture store. Little things can create customer dissatisfaction or positive impact. They chose the former - I do not understand the logic. Update as of 9/18. After getting a message from them to contact by email, I did so. Was told again I missed the cutoff, so tough luck. However, I was contacted by the amazing salesperson we used who contacted the store manager and arranged for us to exchange the rug for another. Layda Valdez saved the day and picked up 3 additional stars for AFW, no thanks to the customer service department! Today we made the exchange, I can say that everything else was excellent. But only through the efforts of a salesperson who went out of her way to do the right thing.

Found just what I was looking for in office furniture. Michael was a great sales associate.

We had a great experience at American Furniture Warehouse. Carl Reed helped us find the perfect living room and dining room sets, and the whole process was smooth and easy. The selection is fantastic, and honestly, the prices are better than Rooms To Go for the same (or even better) quality. Plus, delivery was super fast! We’ll definitely be shopping here again.

The service at this location was a horror story! Me and my mother went to this location to get a couch and they treated us as if we were the ones that needed to service them! Yesenia was the young lady servicing us. While she was sweet, she sold us the couch, but told us we could not have it shipped until we both provided proof of lease and an Id. The next day we came with ID and proof of leases but now we were told that we would have to provide 2 Proof of IDs and lease. When asking them why we have to do this (We shopped here before and did not have to provide these items.), another sales person named Emily, who was assisting Yesenia told us, “Are you getting the couch or not?!?(EVEN THOUGH WE HAD PURCHASED IT A DAY PRIOR). So, we canceled the sale and went to another location. Such an inconvenience to have to drive 2 days straight to Webster because they did not appreciate our service nor money. BEST ADVICE I COULD GIVE IS GO TO THE KATY LOCATION THEY ARE AMAZING!

This is my 3rd time visiting and I have never “checked in” to customer pick up. I went inside after waiting 30 minutes and I was told some salespeople check the customer in and some don’t. Why not? If I paid to pick up then all salespeople should automatically check the customer in. Getting off again is an inconvenience. Now I have to wait 10-15 additional minutes. The salesman who assisted me was Jose Gonzales but his name tag said Joey. I’m really upset in the time I wasted. I paid at 3:10 and received my text. I FINALLY GOT MY PURCHASE AT 3:50. It was not busy. Wasted my time.

I called the store inquiring about whether my furniture is available yet and spoke with a lady named Sandra she offered by far the best customer service I have ever experienced. I presented a problem she offered a solution all the while with the most contagious positive energy you could hear her smile through the phone. She genuinely seemed like she was happy to help me. I'm so used to poor customer service that it was a shock receiving this level of customer service she needs a raise!!!

Very Pleased with the products that AFW offers at a very affordable prices that doesn’t break your bank. All the employees are very welcoming and attentive, but yet they give you space to walk around and see the furniture without feeling pressured or harassed. We have bought several times here before very recommended.

Good pricing and selection for home furniture and rugs. Sales people were available everywhere if you needed them without pressuring you. That was nice. I would definitely recommend this store.

I cannot say enough good things about American Furniture Warehouse located on the Gulf Frwy in Webster,TX. Confronted with the task of furnishing my son’s first apartment, we entered this store. Almost, immediately we met Mr. Rick Orr, one of the salesmen there. He is an exceptional salesman. He was polite and eager to help us. After explaining our intentions, he instantly began showing us furniture to accomplish our goal. This store has beautiful furniture! His knowledge of the store inventory was extremely impressive. Admittedly, I am a picky shopper but Rick was kind, patient and never appeared annoyed. His behavior spoke volumes regarding his level of dedication towards satisfying his customers and is not easily found with most salespeople today. He definitely took the stress out of furniture shopping. It’s been a week since all of our furniture was delivered and everything looks wonderful! Compliments have already been received. Thank you Mr. Rick Orr and AFW! You have gained a forever customer and I will be referring family and friends.

We just purchased a new oversized recliner. Sale price was great, Jesse was very helpful and not pushy. Three young men delivered the chair on schedule and they were nice and professional. Only one negative comment- there’s a piece/flap of fabric on the back of the chair to cover up the frame. The bottom of the flap is supposed to wrap under the chair and Velcro to stick. Unfortunately the flap is not quite long enough to wrap under the chair to Velcro so it just hangs loose. Quality Control needs to check this at the factory.

Our sales associate, Tall Brian, was AMAZING. He helped us every step of the way. The prices here are insanely discounted. Highly recommend this place!

Purchased leather sofa and loveseat about a year ago and both pieces peeling already. Spoke with customer service manager who told me I was out of the warranty period. Thousands of dollars down the train. Don’t trust the hype, their products are inferior.

AFW is a nice place to go to when you need some furniture! Their prices are fair and affordable! They seem to have won several awards for being the best furniture store around. If you need any type of furnishings, this is a good place to check out! They even have a deli in case you want to celebrate your purchase with food!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS I placed an order with this business, and there was a manufacturers defect with the table. When I contacted the company to utilize their one year warranty program, the representative named Roger and the customer service department was extremely rude and displeasing and told me that I am the one that caused the damage to the table, though the representative has no proof that this is the case. I am unsure why I am being discriminated against in regards to utilizing the warranty program when there is no basis of user damage but rather manufacturers defect. They do not honor their warranty program, predatory business practices.

Great prices and a huge selection. Wouldn't expect the furniture to be of the highest quality but you get what you pay for. Would highly recommend as a first stop whenever buying new furniture and at the very least using it as a way to figure out what exactly you are looking for even if you don't find exactly what you want to buy.

Went in looking for a new couch with a vague idea of what I wanted. Robert the sales guy was fantastic, and he was able to answer all my questions and help me gain a better idea of what I was looking for. He made himself available without being pushy or aggressive. Payment and setting up delivery was quick and easy. The delivery process went very smooth. They communicated well through text and were on time with their set delivery window (they were actually here at the very beginning of that window so I wasn’t stuck waiting at my apartment all day). The guys delivering my furniture were professional and friendly. They also handled my new furniture with care. Great experience all around recommend AFW 10/10.

Wonderful experience with AFW. The piece I wanted wasn't available locally yet they were able to get from another store out of state with no additional cost. I was told it would be 2-3 weeks and it was delivered to my home within 5 days. I couldn't believe it. They beat other retailers by $350-$700. It is quality furniture and the people were so great and helpful. Will definitely consider them again in the future.

I can't believe how low the prices are. Ordered on Saturday and furniture was delivered Monday. I live on 3rd floor in this Texas heat of 90 degrees or more, and the men got my furniture up quickly and accurately. They were polite and helpful.

Prices are good. Salesman need more training way more training. Had to come back to the store all the way from home because the salesman messed up.

I walked in looking for a bedroom set. Walked back and forth tying to find something that shows in stock. Couldn't find it and was never approached by anyone to see if I needed help. I guess they don't need my money.

Upon arrival till delivery the communication was excellent. The staff was very helpful and never pushed to purchase more item. She allowed us to browse with occasionally checking on us to see if we had questions. Not only will we be returning to purchase more item but we will be using the same sales person.
