I had a disappointing experience at this store. What started as a pleasant encounter turned into a complete waste of my time. The salesperson at the Katy, TX location was exceptional, but everything else went downhill after that. I paid for my item and was instructed to go to the pickup area. However, I waited 36 minutes without any communication from the loading dock or staff members. The ladies in the area next to the loading dock seemed indifferent to helping customers. I stood there for what felt like an eternity, waiting for the young girl at the desk to acknowledge me. When she finally did, she acted as if I was bothering her. I spoke with the loading dock supervisor, but after speaking with him, I don’t believe things will improve here. Their overall attitude was the reason I canceled the purchase and vowed never to return to this store or this franchise.

I visited for the first time today and worked with JT! He greeted us when we came in and didn’t turn away from helping us as a few of the other salespeople on the floor did. He was personable and a joy to work with. If I return, I will work with him from now on!

This place was recommended to us and we were so glad we went there. We were able to get great furniture at great prices enabling us to get more furniture than we had planned. Our salesperson, Jimmy Tran, was fantastic. He know where everything was so we didn’t have to waste time looking for things we wanted. The customer service from AFW was great from start to finish. I was immediately greeted and assisted as soon as I walked through the door. A salesperson assisted me personally, showcasing all available options and answering all of my questions, but not in a pushy manner at all. The furniture arrived as scheduled (email and text confirmations were sent in advance) and the delivery people were very friendly as well. I think I may have found my new home for future furniture purchases.

So glad we came into AFW and met James Peng, our salesman, he was so helpful and informative about our furniture choices. We ended up buying furniture/rugs for 3 rooms. If you’re looking for someone to help you out with your furniture needs ask for James! He even showed up with the delivery team to make sure everything was delivered and setup up to our satisfaction!

I picked out furniture on Friday and it was delivered on Wednesday. I received a text the day before stating my delivery would be between 7:15 am and 9:45 am and I thought there was no way they would be here that early. At 7:00 am I received notification they would be here in 20 minutes and that is when they show up. The drivers were very courteous and professional. This was the best experience I have had with furniture delivery. Highly recommend!

Our entire experience from beginning to end was amazing. Our salesman, Mazhar, was very helpful and friendly. The delivery service went smoothly - they were on time, efficient and friendly. We had a power supply missing for one of the recliners and Jordan personally picked one up from the store and brought it to us. This is our third time buying furniture at this Katy location. We'll definitely continue shopping here. Thank you!

What isn’t to love? Great prices and great furniture! Honestly, I love this furniture store. I initially came here with a friend to buy myself a living room set and a mattress. When she moved she went back and got herself some furniture as well. Now, I took my mom and she also purchased! It’s very easy to find something you love and within your budget with their large showroom.
I also VERY much enjoy that employees are always there when needed but NEVER hassling you. They aren’t pushing you to make a purchase or get the “bigger and better” one. They’re simply there and when you are ready they will help you. Me and my mom went specifically for a recliner but we toured the entire place, trying out all the chair and sofas, even beds! Not once were we followed or anything. When we finished looking at everything, went back to the recliners, found the employee, and purchased in less than 10 minutes.
Needless to say, I will be making future furniture purchases here!

The service at the store was excellent. Very reasonable and helpful. We knew what we wanted and they were very fast with checkout. Fast forward to delivery day and the guys came and rushed the install of our sectional. They forgot to plug some of the connections in and completely disregarded the surge protector I provided for them to plug things into. They did not test the unit like we were told they would do. They were in such a hurry to get to their next stop that they did not even answer any questions I had. It's not a huge deal but when I pay as much as I did for the unit , I expected better.

AFW was great to deal with. We ordered a full bedroom set from them and the delivery and setup fees are great 👍 very friendly delivery team and even though we had the wrong item, the speed and quick response makes it worth every penny! Highly recommend them

Great experience with JT at American Furniture Warehouse in Katy. He Informed and specified well to the product and delivery of my order. Open and honest to work with my questions. Thumbs up with the hard working delivery guys of my bed, mattress and vanity. Was able to understand that it should be easy to unscrew everything when it’s time to move.

Delivery guys were ahead of schedule and very considerate. The sleeper sofa was heavy and needed to be moved to an upstairs room. They considered all the angles best way to move the sofa without damaging the sofa or our walls and doors. Very nice guys too. They definitely deserve a good review.
