**Impatient/rude delivery drivers **
** Gave my furniture away and then lied about it**
I will NEVER!!! use AFW, they are awful, the delivery driver was rude and threatened to leave my couch and chair in the hallway on the first floor of my 30 story building! I am a frail anemic 105 pound woman..i dont deserve this at all! Then my ottoman was backorder, the day of delivery (delivery at 8am they called me at 7:56am) they called me and told me it was damaged in the warehouse?? how is this possible when I just paid the day before? They made a mistake a delivered my ottoman to someone else and then lied to me saying it was damaged and that I had to wait a week after ive already been waiting a month?? awful horrible company, ...

I can say that I had a great experience at this store. All the staff is inviting and courteous. The store is clean and arranged beautifully. Above all else, the sales consultant, Lynn Kobzeff made the experience for my self and my mother the most enjoyable. When I go into a retail location, I usually feel like when they ask if I need any help I get rushed. This wasn’t the case at all this time she was so patient and let us see everything we asked for and gave some great recommendations. This lady really knows her products. I hope I can work with her again.

Cheap furniture that won't last you long it's mostly made in China they'll also resell you used furniture and tell you it's just repackaged because it needed inspected or the packaging was damaged. Low prices for a reason

We found the furniture we needed for our needs and bought an Italian leather couch. The individuals that deliver the furniture and repair the furniture were very professional and cordial. They came with a smile and were informative and efficient. The sales person was very helpful and walked me through the loan application process! The manager was attentive and fair with our concerns. The whole process was timely and smooth. Great service. We will return again. 👏

We spent 5k on a all leather set of couches that's supposed to have a 5 year warranty. Have had to have them repaired numerous times because the recliners break. It's a know issue according to the techs we've had out and they have to replace them all the time.
After the first year you have to spend 49 dollars for diagnostic fee, then 49 dollars an hour for repairs with the warranty. This was there high end stuff with premium leather etc. and it's built like crap. Go somewhere else and do your research, we thought this place had quality, but it's not the case.

Paid for a desk ocee 2 weeks ago no one called but it was supposed to be in a few days ago, I called to check on it and got Claudia who spoke so fast you couldn't understand her, then I repeat the order # several times, cause she apparently wants you to speak as slowly as possible but can't give you the same courtesy, then she says "its ready come get it" and literally hung up the phone. Didn't see if i heard or understood or had questions, just "it's ready ckme get it" then bam disconnects. So rude. I am seriously rethinking buying furniture for my new home there cause it was just as bad when ww went to the showroom cause they must look for who they think has $ and everyone else is left searching for a rep to help. Looks can be deceiving tho so they aee about to lose out on a big sale. Ridiculous. Customer service has gone so far downhill, now the custkmer is supposed to kiss a** to get help. That's why everything is going online cause no one wants to deal with the Claudia's of the world. Do better afw

I'm African American. I Came in yesterday to look around at the furniture. I was in the store for a while and no one asked if they could help me . I walked passed several sales people. I saw another comment of a person saying the same thing. I don't know what's going on with your sales people.

Horrible on backing their products. Had a issue with a kitchen chair. (New) Whomever put the chair put in the wrong screws to hold the foot rest (support) for the legs. 2 screws in 1 chair weren't the same as all the others. Ya I checked them all. They wanted to send a "Technician" and evaluate the chair. Won't honor the warranty after I fix it better than the manufacturer made it. Sad, companies are so arrogant with possible people than are Loyal customers IF the customer service is quality

Plenty of parking, excellent selection, something for every trend or design taste. Staff doesn't stalk you! They greet you & say let me know if you need help & let you browse. Nice selection of wall art, pillows & accessories. Prices are competitive.

The shopping experience at American furniture warehouse was absolutely fantastic… It was so much fun to just go in and look at the furniture in a very cool setting that reminded us of our own homes… And it was made so much easier with Joseph helping us… Thank you Joseph we really appreciate all of your help and I would recommend Joseph to anyone who is looking for help in purchasing furniture… He is the utmost professional, as well as a very good sounding board for ideas… looking forward to our next purchase with Joseph 😃

We went in there for a bed frame cause our bed frame broke. We have tile bed frame,move back-and-forth and finally breaks Of course we want to see if we apply for credit ask this lady . She showed me where to scan, but then disappeared which is very disappointing, had questions but luckily we ran into. Briana Montanez she answered all my questions. She showed me every single bed frame and hopefully this bed frame holds up so I’m very excited.

Ive purchase furniture there in the past and just baught something this week and the furniture has never been an issue. How ever customers service was the worst. No one came up to us to see if we had any questions, my daughter had to find someone and when that female came she seemed rushed and not wanting to stay if i needed anything else. When i decided on what i wanted to purchase i was trying to figure out where to check out and again none of the staff come up to us to to try to help us check out. I honestly would have purchase another item but because of the customer service experience i will purchase elsewhere.

Only ask for him, Daniel Rogers is the best salesman I have ever encountered. Thoughtful, caring, and an all around great person that loves helping people. He explained in detail the history of the business, how they do business, the warranty that they offer complimentary with the purchase, and even gave us recommendations for televisions and where to buy them since they no longer carry them. Daniel is such a genuine person and you can feel it. If you go into this store and want to have a wonderful experience, ask for Daniel Rogers.

We went to the Glendale store for an area rug, and left with an oversized chaise lounge for our living room. We had just ordered one of those viral Tiktok oversized chaise lounge the day before from Amazon for $600. As soon as we saw the Snuggle Double chaise lounge in AFW, we cancelled the Amazon order. Brendon helped us setup delivery, and two days later it was delivered and setup in our office! This chaise is incredibly beautiful, well built, inviting and comfortable. Perfect!
Overall, It was a seamless and perfect experience.

Signed me up for a credit card I did not want. Lied to me about it being a credit card.
EDIT: It is a credit card. It does not work anywhere else. I was told it was a snap loan that I could pay in installments, but instead received a card in the mail, and a WellsFargo account. Sales Associate: Ishmael This tanked my credit score.

We recently visited AFW in Glendale to checkout living room furniture on sale. . We at first wanted to just purchase a power reclining loveseat and was assisted by Keith Kinsey. We wanted to view a couple and he was so helpful and knowledgeable to help us find just the right one. He is an exceptional service rep and went above and beyond with His excellent service and took care of our order. And had us all setup for delivery in 2 days which is amazing!! When we got home later that evening we decided that we wanted to also go ahead and purchase the matching couch so we called back to speak with Keith but unfortunately he had left already so we than spoke with Jacquin Forsell and we explained to her we had just recently today purchased a new loveseat and Keith had assisted us and now we decided to also purchase the couch and wanted to know if we could possibly handle the purchase over the phone with her but we wanted Keith to receive credit for his excellent service to us. Jacquin was exceptional as well and was so helpful and she quickly took care of our transaction purchase to also add the couch to our order and got it added to the delivery for Tuesday and texted us a link so we could process payment. She was excellent as well and we couldn’t be happier with our experience with AFW and want to give Kudos to both Keith Kinsey and Jacquin Forsell for going the extra mile to provide Exceptional Customer service!! We are long time AF customers and this is just one of the reason why we shop at AFW because their service And prices can’t be beat Anywhere!!! Thank you again for the Exceptional service and we will be back next year to purchase a new bedroom set. Also we absolutely love our new living room set!!

Very disappointed by the sales staff. While I do appreciate no being pressured it would be nice if they had better information on product. I was pretty much dismissed when I had any questions. We had decided on 2 recliner. Was told I had to do all loan on my phone. I'm 70 and not very tech savvy. He saw me struggle did not offer to help. Maybe he could have called someone who understands that different generations suffer different problems. We walked out without making a purchase. Very disappointed how seniors are treated.

My customer service and buying experiences at AFW - Glendale were all phenomenal due to my salesperson, Mike. He is a professional salesman that listens to his customers and then finds the item that meets their wants, needs, or expectations. After my first purchase, I knew that I would seek out Mike’s expertise and advisement in the future despite having some challenges with delivery. He helped me to navigate the process and I was able to get quick resolution. Mike definitely makes sure he takes care of his clients from start to finish. When I came back to seek out more items, Mike remembered me by name. He is definitely one of the best at AFW-Glendale.

I purchased a beautiful heavy wood desk, chair, recliner, and side table for my office. Furniture is high quality and delivery was exceptional. Only reason I am rating this a 4 is sales person CoKo needs to establish social boundaries. While I was shopping around she informed my husband she is on 7 dating sites including an anti vax site. We work in healthcare and asked if we are required to get COVD vaccine. Inappropriate for both topics.

Most outdated place I've been in a long time. Drive up and follow the signs for pick up only to be sent elsewhere because my e-receipt and Driver's license are not good enough. Got to go inside the store to get a "paper receipt" to find out that i got to make the trip again because the purchase confirmation email, along with my e-receipt email and Driver's license are useless with out the physical card I made the ONLINE PURCHASE with. Come back with my phisical card to get my paper receipt only to be told that I'll get a text msg in 15 to 20 minutes with the gate number i need to park in so they can load my product into my vehicle. 20 minutes later I get a text saying to go to door #9 where i see a truck that seems to be backing into that same door, guys honks at me a few times and i keep backing into the door cuz i thought " mhe can't be honking at me i got the text to come to this door". Well guys gets out starts telling me I'm in his spot and surprise surprise he too got a text msg to go to door #9. If the guy would being as mad as i was there probly would've been a physical altercation and you guys would've had a damn lawsuit in your hands, and I thought circle k had bad service. Good thing i had 20 minutes to kill while you guys got my order ready

I've literally furnished my whole house from here. Everyone we have had an interaction with were awesome. We did have an issue with a mattress we bought in the clearance section and despite us being a couple days beyond the warranty they still allowed us to bring it back and receive a full credit. Due to us not being able to test it out prior to purchasing it and realizing there was a huge dip in it after rotating and adding a mattress topper we had no choice but to call customer service. The lady we spoke to was beyond helpful and understanding. We will only recommend and shop here. Quality and price and service are top notch. Keep up the awesome job!
