I had never been to a AFW store before. It was very nice inside, and the floor people were very helpful and friendly. I ended up buying a reclining sofa and coffee table that I thought were great! The exact same items are on Amazon for more money, so I would say I got a great deal at AFW!

I really love this place!! They have tons of selections no matter what kind of furniture or decor you are looking for. They advertise having friendly, no pressure sales reps, and they really do mean that!! At no time did I feel pressured or intimidated to make a purchase and i was in there for over an hour or 2. The sales reps that I did speak to were very friendly and informative. The prices are extremely reasonable as well, which is rare in modern times.

I have bought things from AFW and always had a good experience until this time, I purchased 4 sets of bed frames, and one of them came dirty and looked used had a rip on it the screws came in a zip lock bag and had screws missing I spoke with customer service who sent me out a new one after the picture when I received the new one it was still missing screws that I needed to assemble I spoke with Melissa who was great and offered me 50 dollar credit and got thebouece for me she said I had to go to the warehouse to pick it up and when I get home to ser up the bed the one of the pieces to headboard won't tighten due to the threaded hole been stripped is frustrated that my 9 year old daughter won't have a bed to sleep again cuz they can't get it right the 1st definitely the worst experience I've ever had

Robyn M. from the Glendale location definitely exceeded my expectations. She demonstrated excellent customer service and went above and beyond to make the impossible possible in a very proficient and timely manner. After several phone calls and weeks looking for a discontinued item at AFW, Robyn was the only employee who was able to locate the furniture piece immediately and coordinate shipment and delivery from out of state all within half an hour. Every time I try to purchase something from here I have issues with pick up and it takes hours to just purchase furniture. We are not financing a car or mortgaging a house. We are buying a piece of furniture, no finance. It shouldn't be that difficult to buy furniture. We always have issues picking up items as well. We don't get text messages or they don't put us in the queue correctly. I'm not shopping here anymore.

The person that rang up the bill was very impatient. If it wasn't for the fact that we were only in town for a few days and had to make the purchase. We would have waited another time to make a purchase with another person. Made buying new furniture unpleasant. However, the piece ordered was pushed up 3 weeks sooner than expected. If you want furniture less durable than poop, go here. You'll get great prices of Far Eastern made garbage that doesn't last 6 month. Bought a power recliner and office chair here, and both were nearly worthless after a few months. One of the 5 worst purchases I've made in my 50 years as an adult and the adult who's picture is in the store bragging about their margins conveniently doesn't tell you the furniture quality is MARGINAL. My purchases were made in late summer 2023.

THE WORST, lazy as can be. Called me one time and moved on. Called back 1 min later and was on a 30 min hold to be told they have moved on! Gave me a time frame and was no where in the frame. Unprofessional customer service who hate there job and no care for people belongings. The front office of my apt said they saw them (moving truck) for 5 mins sitting in there truck and took off. The worst experience ever. I would never order with American furniture again just because of this! Want to credit me a free reschedule free of charge like they're doing me a favor! It's your mess up! You should but The inconvenience of me having to wait another couple days with no furniture is beyond me

I have been buying furniture for 60 years with my wife who does Interior decorating. She has done dozens of houses from bedroom sets, family room couches and tables, dining room sets, home office hutches and desks, wall paintings and decor and kitchen and room backsplashes and accent walls. Anyway we have a new house and she wanted to get a sleeper couch along with a side table and chest of draws for when guests come to visit and should happen to stay over (grand children). Anyway we went to America Furniture and I have to say, I was blown away by the products they carry and the LOW prices. We have spent, during the years, thousands of dollars on a sleeper couch, tables and chest of draws. We actually bought a couch with a Sealy Mattress, all wood frame, NO PRESSED BOARD, and metal heavy duty framing. I asked the salesman how they can sell for such low prices and it's because of the volume of items they buy to stock their MANY locations. When we came out to Arizona 6 years ago we shopped in private stores thinking the quality was better. Well IT WAS NOT. We spent thousands of dollars on furniture which did not stand up and the private stores basically would do nothing for us. Well I would definitely recommend American Furniture if you're looking for inexpensive furniture that looks and stands up to the over priced deals elsewhere.

Great prices, nice showroom. Plenty of people who offered to help, but when we said "just looking" they said "ok, let us know if you need help". When decision was made to purchase, associate was very nice and extremely helpful. We were taking it with us, so it was loaded and tied into the truck. Easy, peasy!

I love going here. There are so many great furniture deals here for all types. This is one of my go-to spots for big furniture purchases. Their food court also offers free water bottles, which is such a nice gesture with it being so hot here. The only negative, which isn’t really a negative, is the amount of sales workers on the floor. There’s at least one in every section, and every single one will approach you to see if need anything. I kinda prefer exploring unbothered and then finding help when I need it. It doesn’t deter me, but it’s a little annoying being stopped every few minutes.

We bought a beautiful living room set about four months ago $2500. We just purchased another one for our family room, and it was broken. We were told from Customer Care who is extremely rude. Spoke to three people and got hung up on that, I couldn’t exchange it, even though I was paying the extra money. She seemed to make a big deal about some thing and wanted to argue with me. What happened to the customers always right. She tried to accuse us of breaking the couch. Had to call manager of the store who took care of everything. Also went to pick up a lamp day before and recorded the gentleman in garage. Six where you pick up your things shaking my lamp back-and-forth in a box. Reported that as well. Extremely upset I don’t think any of this was fair that even had to pay , more money. It should’ve just been fixed and done politely. Recommend the furniture but I think that they need new employees. They forget that the customers or what keep them going and that’s what keeps their pay and their jobs. They need to learn where they stand and always be polite . I have the email of this customer care person she should be fired. Not acceptable by any means. Reporting to the Better Business Bureau. Not happy with there customer care people and when you pick up your stuff. Change in this store is needed in employees. I have copies of email to show better business bureau as I also recorded the call. Just so everyone knows you can record anyone without letting them know it’s legal.

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST delivery experience I have EVER received. This is also the worst delivery customer service I have ever received. They sent out a phone call, email and text message stating they would be here at a specific date and time. They showed up a completely different day and time without warning. We received a call apologizing stating there were multiple clients having this issue and something was wrong with their system. They scheduled a new day and time and said they would call 30 minutes in advance and then showed up 5 hours earlier than the time with no phone call. We then received a call from the manager saying the driver had to wait because of the error. We left our home and headed straight to the new house to meet the drivers to pull up to the house and receive a phone call that said they need to reschedule and the driver left. This is horrible business. What made this even more horrible is the lack of care on the delivery team for their failures to the customer. It feels terrible to be so excited and walk in a store and have wonderful experience in purchasing and be left with this great feeling to be met with this disappointing disaster on a delivery experience. I truly am feeling bad I ever dealt with the company and wish I would’ve taken my business elsewhere as I understand mistakes can happen but it’s all in now you deal with them. This was the poorest example of service. I HAD TO COME BACK AND EDIT AND ADD THIS… I just called again about the delivery and I’m sitting on the floor of my new home and I get an agent who says she will transfer me to a person who can help me.. a man picks up and I ask if he can help straighten out my delivery issue… he said “I don’t work here, I am a customer” He said he was at the store buying furniture and trying to pick it up. WILDEST MOMENT in poor service history ever. How does your customer service line transfer one customer to another. I didn’t think the experience could get any worse. I hope the owner gets to read these and see how terrible the delivery team is

You can spend hours here looking at their massive selection of almost any piece of furniture/decor you need for your home. I've purchased here multiple times, and I love that you can pick up your items the same day. Everything I've owned has held up great, and the only reason I've replaced an item is because of our style changing. With a store this size, be prepared to run into multiple associates checking on you, but they are never pushy, and any always ready to help.

Be very cautious when purchasing anything from this store. The sales people will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to buy it. When it gets delivered, inspect it thoroughlybefore the delivery drivers leave. I paid $900 for an item and it's damaged.And they refused to fix it because it was on sale. I would have never bought it if I knew I was going to get a damaged item.

I have been working with Lynn on getting a set of office furniture for my home office. Lynn is extraordinary with customer care, the kinda service it's almost impossible to find anymore nowadays. How? She's caring, kind, super responsive via text, and she helped me select an office desk to fit my particular needs. This latter was a challenging one because my computer has eight 32" monitors, so it really needed a solid and sturdy L-shaped desk. On June 16th, I purchased a rocker recliner that unexpectedly broke on August 3rd due to a snapped spring. After only 48 days of ownership, the chair is completely unusable (see attached photo). I promptly contacted AFW's warranty customer service and offered to bring the chair in for a replacement that same day. Unfortunately, I was instructed to send photos first. While I complied, I was hoping for a swift resolution. Instead, I was informed that a technician would need to inspect the chair before proceeding. The only available appointment was on a Saturday, as I work during the week. Additionally, I was told the appointment time is non-negotiable. It's incredibly frustrating to have to disrupt my personal time to address a problem with a defective product, especially when the technician is only coming to inspect the chair. Why was a photo inspection not sufficient? This entire process has been unnecessarily time-consuming and has eroded my trust in AFW. I am eager to resolve this issue and receive a replacement chair promptly. I am concerned about the chair's durability and hope for a swift resolution. My only remaining questions is what will be quicker? The chair breaking from the time I bought it or when they decide to do something about getting it fixed.

I really loved the $20 rental truck!!! It was very easy to rent the truck and the best part is not to worry about refueling it, the $20 includes everything. When I went to pick up the dining table it didn't fit in my SUV, I had to either schedule a delivery to home or try out their truck rental. I am glad I tried it out, they gave me F150, nice and I think it was new.

We should have known that we were going to get screwed from the beginning. We bought a sectional on 6/1/24 and they were supposed to be delivered a couple days after. When the delivery guys showed up they said that they had loaded the wrong set, the set they had in their truck was used but we could keep them if i wanted them. Obviously said no to the used set since we paid for new ones and that wouldn’t make sense, the new set again was supposed to be delivered in another couple of days. We got the new set, however, the couches started to peal every where soon after we got them. Started the warranty process online because they have no actual person that you can talk to, and nothing no one has called to resolve this issue. We went to the actual store but they said to follow the process on line. I have sent 4 different claims in the last couple of weeks and still nothing, no one calls or emails back. Meanwhile, the couch keeps pealing and just looks horrible, definitely not worth the money we paid. The sectional did not even last a month and now we’re stuck with them because no one has the courtesy to even check on the warranty claims so what’s the point of even selling a warranty? Definitely only to take your money and not to actually use it.

I have l been long Living Space customer. I came across AFW online because they had some Ashley furniture that I like at very low price versus the Ashley store. Long story short the furniture was damaged on delivery they did every they could for me to accept the furniture the way it was by offering me a 10% discount on a $2000 order. I told them I wanted a replacement in which they ignored my request for over two weeks until they receive credit card dispute and that's when they finally contacted me to resolve my issues. Cheaper is always not the better. It's having a trust worthy company that stands behind what they sale

I've bought furniture from AFW for 20 years, maybe longer. The couch we bought in April will be the last thing we buy from them. The frame is bent so badly that sitting on one end lifts the other end. They want to repair it instead of replace it, 3-6 months for the part to arrive. I tried to reason with the warranty service agent, but there is no reason involved in this process. I told her we're likely doing more damage to the couch by sitting on it while waiting for the repair, and I also think that fixing the frame won't fix all of the problems with the couch. I can't imagine what they will do once they figure out that the couch can't be fixed... Their warranty service people are rude from the moment they answer the phone. I'm guessing from the reviews on here that they deal with people frustrated by their policies all day long - it honestly sounds like they are reading a script. They used to be a great company, now they sell substandard furniture and provide terrible service. You might pay more somewhere else, but you'll get more for your money.

They researched 2 items I was so wanting to buy; tried to find out when they might become available. Today, Briana called me to update me on the item! I was so pleasantly surprised because I was going to call in another 2 weeks or so based on initial estimated timeline, but Briana beat me to it! I am SO grateful for both of these employees going above and beyond to help me acquire these 2 items. My experience at American Furniture Warehouse was great! I was able to take my time looking around without any pushy salesperson following me around. If I did have a question it was very easy to find an associate for help. The delivery team is also amazing .They are professional, careful, and quick.

Sonia helped us with our furniture selections. She was very helpful and informative. All of our furniture were delivered and assembled within two days. Aaron Spencer and Mario Fergusson were in and out with delivery. I do believe they knocked down our mailbox, but other than that everything was good. Prices were unbelievable !
